Results are estimates

All calculator results are estimates based on the tax rates and rules stated on the methodology page. They are not exact payslip figures, and they are not financial or tax advice. Your real take-home pay depends on state tax, health-insurance premiums, retirement contributions and other deductions this site does not yet cover. See the financial disclaimer.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators and read the articles for personal, non-commercial use. You may link to any page. You must not: attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it aggressively, misrepresent its results as official tax figures, or use it to mislead others.

Intellectual property

The site’s text, design and calculator code belong to Homiotake unless stated otherwise. Tax rates and thresholds themselves are public facts from official sources (IRS, GOV.UK) and are not owned by us. You may quote short passages with a link back to the source page.

No accounts, no warranties

There are no accounts on this site and nothing to log in to. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep the figures accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free results.
